brede_str_str2mat

PURPOSE ^

brede_str_str2mat - Convert string into a 'Mat' structure

SYNOPSIS ^

function M = brede_str_str2mat(S, varargin)

DESCRIPTION ^

 brede_str_str2mat - Convert string into a 'Mat' structure

       B = brede_str_str2mat(S)

       Input:    S     String or strings

       Property: Info  [ {0} | Waitbar | Integer ] Amount of (debug)
                       information

       Output:   M     'Mat' structure

       This function vectorizes a set of strings (to a bag-of-words)
       and convert them into a matrix. The matrix is of size
       (documents x terms) thus the number of rows corresponds to the
       number of input strings and the number of columns corresponds
       to the number of unique terms (words)

       The elements are set to the absolute frequency of the term
       occurences.

       Example:
         S = { 'fMRI study of memory', 'Memory study with PET' }
         M = brede_str_str2mat(S)
